Citizens of more than 85 countries do not need visas to come to Colombia as tourists. This is a major advantage when organizing any kind of international event.
If you are a national of one of the countries listed in the list given in Decreto 5707 de 2008, and you are attending an event Colombia, you will not need a visa to stay for up to 90 days from the day you arrive.
Electricity in Bogota is at 110V/60Hz. Most wall sockets take Type-B 3-pin plugs, compatible with Type-A flat 2-pin American-style plugs.

Your taxi should have a placard in front of or visible from the back seat, identifying the vehicle, the driver, and a fare chart showing the peso equivalent of the units marked on the meter. “Yellow-cab” taxis only accept cash.
There is a surcharge on the meter units for transfers to and from the airport, trips outside city limits, and services provided at night and/or on public holidays.
