Ágora Bogotá: Centro de Convenciones

The most important scientific meeting in ophthalmology on the continent took place at Ágora Bogotá, bringing together nearly 5,000 participants, including specialists, researchers, and leaders, to share the latest medical advances, new technologies, and best practices in visual health. In addition to the academic content, it featured a commercial exhibition that fostered medical innovation and strengthened the healthcare industry.

From May 4 to 6, in the heart of Bogotá, more than 1,000 leaders from the meetings and events industry gathered to explore trends, innovation, and strategies that are transforming the sector. The event offered experiences focused on the specific challenges and opportunities of our region, as well as meaningful connections that build collaborative learning.

Since 2019, we have hosted the most important fashion platform in Colombia’s capital, which promotes local talent by connecting emerging and established designers with national and international buyers. The event celebrates creativity, design, and cultural identity, while positioning Bogotá as a Latin American design hub that fosters sustainability, cultural heritage, and innovation in every proposal.

In 2023, Ágora Bogotá hosted the 101st General Session & Exhibition of the International Association for Dental, Oral and Craniofacial Research (IADR). The event brought together more than 1,600 attendees from 76 countries, consolidating itself as a global platform for academic and scientific exchange. With the participation of researchers, academics, clinical professionals, and students, the congress strengthened Colombia’s visibility on the international scientific agenda and left a legacy for advancing oral health and research in the region.

Since 2024, Ágora Bogotá has been the venue of the largest technology and education community event in Latin America. With more than 22,000 in-person attendees and tens of thousands connected virtually in its most recent editions, Platzi Conf has established itself as a space for innovation, networking, and knowledge-sharing that connects leaders, entrepreneurs, and enthusiasts from across the digital sector in the region.

Since 2023, the International Art Fair of Bogotá, ARTBO, has been held at the convention center. Each edition has brought together more than 110 participating spaces, featuring between 300 and 350 national and international artists, around 200 specialized guests, and an average of 28,000 visitors. With its multiple sections —including Galleries, Projects, Referents, Encounters, Talks, and Design— ARTBO has fostered dialogue among artists, gallerists, collectors, and the public.
